I would rather quit fishing than use Stren. I have used it several times and had terrible results with it on all occasions. I dont know what to think now that Pure Fishing owns Stren. Maybe they will make it better. ;D

I've always used Berkley XL or XT don't like Stren, but I do know a lot of people that swear by it. I'll stay with the name BERKLEY.

I had used stren for years,,their easy cats was some of the best line I had until they came out with the Sensor line. That was the most sensitive line I had ever seen,,but when they quit making it I switched over to Trilene XL for my baitfish and bass rods and the XT for my catfish rods.

I also use Spider Wire when I do heavy cover fishing. But I still use Berkley on most of my rod and reels.
ENJOY THE OUTDOORS

Do you guys have Ande tournement where you live? That is my go to line. I always try new stuff and the last two years I have been using Cuda. It is a strong copolymer that handles pretty good. I also like M'coys mean green. Good abrasion resistance. If I had to take trilene or stren though I would take the trilene.

Oh, Man! I almost forgot! My favorite line ever for a baitcaster is Fenwick riverline. They dont make it anymore and whenever I see some I grab it. Great color, abrasion resistance, strong, slick and resists uv really well.Every time I get a birds nest I freak out, then spend 1/2 hour picking it out.
