Two years ago my youngest (Nick) took the record for brine water snook in the northern zone in Florida. (The guide was about 6'6" and nick was probably 4' 10" or so) This is the first fish I ever had mounted The Red Fish is actually one that David caught

My biggest regret was that I never got my 1st. deer mounted but I was 8 so it wasnt like I could afford it I am hoping that when they move out they will take these trophys into thier own homes . Maybe it will remind them of better times when they are having a bad day.

It should pick up your spirits just knowing that what you pass on is a future for your children to enjoy. When your children are old and looking at their childhood trophies and photos it will bring them to a place that no one can ever take from them. When I am sitting in my den, no matter what is bothering me, once I start looking at the mounts and photo's I go to a better place in my head. Hold your head high BT, you're passing on an American heritage that too many take for granted. Fishing and hunting are becoming a privilege in America and you're passing it on to keep it going into the future. Hats off to the little guy, great fish, great pictures, great memories for all of you.

Both are good looking fish, I'm glad your passing on the sport of fishing on to your son. I enjoy taking little people out on the water to learn how to fish. I agree mounts and photo's do take you back to better places and times.
