Main C Channel Base is 27" long and 3" wide by 1 1/2". Arms are 24" long by 1 1/2" angle iron. Angle iron insets to attach arms to base are a piece of 4" angle iron cut 3" wide. Arms are set at 25 degrees. I went to a boat shop and the rollers are off a boat trailer cut 3" long by 2" in diameter. Winch came from Harbor Freight - I caught it on sale for $17.95. The slots in the Main C Channel are 6" long and start 1 1/2" from each end. Guy's thanks for all the great comments on my press, with the 6in. slot in each end that gives you 12 in. of travel on the arms.Another thing when I said 25deg.I mean off plumb. That would be 65deg. off level. What I'm wondering about, is if I reverse one of the arms could I press a par ell limb bow? Can't find any takers around here, willing to loan me there bow
