Very Unhappy With Pse!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have to say, that for a company that bills itself as one of the most customer driven companies out there, they have me asking myself how they can say that.
Some of you might have seen my post recently about my MACH X making a creaking noise on the draw, right after receiving it back from the factory!
The bow was sent to get new 50-60 limbs, and they had it for about 6 weeks!
Now, they are willing to take the bow back, to try and rectify the problem, but as I have a hog hunt coming up in the first week of April, I cannot afford to not only be without the bow for a month, but I can't take the chance of not even getting it back in time!
I called over there (no one ever answers e-mails), to see if they would extend the warranty to an authorized dealer, but, although they will replace any defective parts, they will not incur the cost of the labor!
Now, let me tell you why this doesn't make any sense. The cost of shipping, which they said they will cover, will cost far more than the time it will take a dealer to strip down the bow and diagnose the problem. This is unacceptable, and I will be selling all my PSE bows, and start looking at companies like Bowtech, who can at least give a guarantee of fps!
As a serious hunter, This is my worst nightmare come true. Shame on you PSE!

I love the older PSE bows, but the newer ones are borderline generic. They are all so close in architecture you could almost say they are the same bows with different names. PSE always had a great customer service but I am like you spike it makes no sense to refuse a factory authorized tech to fix your bow and make you happy. That is bad for bussiness, the Mach X is an interesting creature to look at and may shoot great but with the design I would think it offers to many areas for error. I hope you get things lined out in your favor,,and thanks for calling into the show sunday it was great talking with you.

I, like Hoosier, have owned and enjoyed PSE bows in the past....and for those particular models, I'd recommend them to anyone.
Sorry to hear about your issues with your bow....and lack of quality customer support. How far up the chain of command have you gone? I seriously doubt Pete Shepley would appreciate his staff not taking care of a valued customer(EVERY customer is a VALUABLE customer in my book)......if the higher-ups aren't aware of the problem, they can't rectify it. If you don't get a satisfactory reply from one, go on up the chain of command, right to the top.
Not trying to be PSE's apologist here, but surely someone's willing to set this straight for you....best of luck!

Unfortunately I have been hearing too many of these stories lately about PSE.
I too am a PSE shooter and fortunatly for me, (knock on wood) I haven't had any issues with my Firestorm Lite.
I hope you can get this all worked out SPIKE.

Have you heard anything else from PSE? Maybe you could take it to a shop and at least have them diagnose what is wrong with it? I wonder if it isn`t in the limb bolt system they put on that bow,,with it being able to adjust down to zero pounds maybe the creek is in that? Just a guess.

I want to thank everyone for their objective, mature opinions. I can see that this is a board that I feel I can be a part of. You should have seen the mayhem on the PSE board, all the fan boys throwing themselves on their swords to protect their beloved brand name. The thread had to be pulled. AT didn't go so smooth either, I shoot PSE, and if I can't bring a problem to their attention, who can. I have a 300 dollar Fire Flite that shoots groups at 90 yds. They keep upping the prices and lowering the quality.
Any way Diane Watson from PSE called me today to assure me that they were going to straighten the problem out. Was it something I said?

You must have started a heck of ruckuss over there spike,,LOL. Sometimes ya gotta rock the boat to get the captain back at the helm! ! But I will say this, Diane is a great Rep for PSE and she works hard to help unsatisfied customers. Hopefully she will get you taken care of.

Glad you are part of The Huntin Lodge family! We may not always agree with one another, but we do handle things like mature human beings..
Please, keep us posted on how things turn out with PSE.

Took a while, but I'm back with news that PSE s u cks the big one. The only solution provided was to send the bow back to the factory, where it would take god knows how long to return, and why would I want to even do that...Michihunter did a better job of helping me out , getting the bow into spec better than their own factory!!!! Also....I've been PMing Jon Shepley all week..he's been posting on AT bragging up his X FORCE, and guess what??? Nothing, nada, zilch! I'm sorry but PSE is a joke as far as their customer service is concerned!! BTW...scored a nice hog, and finally got a WC string, I might actually turn this thing around on my own, no thanks to PSE.

Glad to hear you are getting things lined out spike. The Mach isn`t a bad bow once you get all the bugs worked out, have had a few headaches with a couple of them myself but once you get them lined out they are a great bow.
