Pheasant season opened today in ND......we went out..Was a good day,I took three grouse,three pheasant...My son took one pheasant...

Congrats on the birds foss, never ate grouse but pheasant sure is some good eatin.

Tell ya' what mike,we freeze all our bird's..Then when there's enough of pheasant,grouse and partridge.. I take a oven roaster and oven baking bag..Add all the breast's of the bird's in the bag,put in a couple can's of cream soup's.... cook for one hour on 350 degree's.... Om my god.nothing better..... Work's with rabbit and chicken too, with pheasant...

Sounds good, I'll have to try that some time. We generally do it in the crock pot with cream soup.
