That's a pretty good gun for a young lady. I was expecting a 20 gauge. It's good to hear she likes it so much.

The barrel is ported and 2 3/4 shells it not that bad to shoot for small arms and she can hunt anything from Dove to Geese with it.

Congrats on the kills.
I did one of those put and take hunts a few years ago with a guy that I worked with. It was fun, but I am not sure if it was worth giving up the day in the deer woods. Especialy since I can buy phesant at the local auction barn for a lower price almost any time that I want to clean a few.

Yeah but you miss the fun of shootin them. I don't go during deer season, but you can hunt birds until I think it is Mid March.

I was not aware that the eason lasted that long. I thaught that it was just a few weeks around the time that they have the put and take hunts on the different state properties. I guess that if I knew any serious bird hunters I would be a little smarter on the subject.

We got a member that does a lot of bird hunting, DDragon, I'm sure he could verify the dates, and give plenty of insight on bird hunting.

Intruder I know what you are saying there. I do not have any children of my own, but have twin nephews that I want to teach everything that I can about the outdoors.

It is kind of expensive, that's why I haven't been in about 3 years myself.
