I was wondering what made you want to start the forum? and how did you go about it?

When I started hunting, I did a lot of research on the internet to try to learn as much as I could. I found a few of these forums which I learned a lot from. So this year I thought it would be cool to have my own, try to get seasoned hunters to join and still continue to learn on my own site.
As far as getting started, there is a lot of free hosting sites out there, some good, some not so good. I set up on numerous but so far this has been the best. More features for free. Now if I can get this going, with many members I will look into a pay site with more capabilities.
I would like to make it so Hunters can come in here and find out anything they need help with and just a place to come and kill some time and shoot the breeze with people that have the same interest.
I know other sites have resident experts such as Archery pros, gunsmiths, game wardens to help fellow members. That is my hopes someday. I have also added the additional sports sections to maybe keep it alive all year long.
So if all goes well, many changes could occur over time, and hopefully for the better.
I hope this has answered your question.
Mike
