Had a message on my machine this morning from tater. He said he went out and shot a doe. I will get details and post them later. He's kinda scared of the computer. So I will post it for him.   |

Ok, I just talked to him, he said he had lots of deer around, thanks to finally a cool overcast weekend. There were 5 doe's and a 1/2 rack 8pt. So he decided to take one of the doe's. Shot it about 20 yards. Bad shot turned good. hit her in the spine and dropped her in her tracks. Don't have the weight or anything yet. He still had to check her in. But hey, now he has meat in the freeze.  |

I just talked to him again, said he got her weighed at the check station and weighed 130lbs. So that's a nice doe. Plenty meat in the freezer now. I'm headed out to the same area here in a bit. Hopefully I will have my own story later tonight
