It happened on Nov. 12th 2005 around 9:30 on a cool morning. He had been there since daybreak and hadn't seen anything until this one was spotted in the brush. It milled around in the brush for about thirty min. when it started moving his direction. It passed behind a tree and he was able to draw on him and when he cleared the tree he was able to get off a shot. The shot was not as good as he had hoped ( maybe because he was nervous ) but we were able to retrieve him about 500 yards away. he is very proud of this deer and I told him that he may not be as lucky this year.

I can see why he is proud. That is an awsome Buck. I dream of the day I can even see one like that.
