I tell you. This has been the craziest year for weather that I can ever remember.
To put the icing on the cake for the year, we just had one hell of a Thunder Storm, that's right Thunder Storm.
Knocked out my satellite, cable and power for a bit.
Come on 2006 ;D

Be careful what you wish for Mike. 2006 may be even wackier!!! I know what you mean, as I said in another post: 15" of snow over Thanksgiving, and now it is almost all gone thanks to the Christmas rains. Now we are having freezing fog. Wacky...at least snow is back in the forecast for New Year's Eve.

Small, isolated cells of t-storms coming off the lake right now. High winds have been here all day. Storms with hail predicted. Snow later this week. Currently, 41 degrees here.

Weather people were right. We are now having pea sized hail, and lots of it. Starting to cover the grass!!! The thunder & lightning makes it all complete. ;D

Well we had a thunderstorm for about an hour, no hail like they said, most of the bad stuff went south of us. Still 55 out.

Bullet, I know you still need some cold weather and snow because you still got some good huntin left, but our huntin is basically over so I would just as soon see our weather be just like today.

The Hunting would be part of it fore sure but we need the snow pak for water to bring the lakes and things up in the spring . The more snow we get will reduce our forest fire risk for use . Plus I like the snow over rain anyday . Regards Bullet

ACK!!!! It is 49 sunny degrees here!!!! I probably should enjoy it while it lasts, but...IT'S JANUARY and I want SNOW!!!! After the supposed high of 50 today the temps start to slowly drop to 25 degrees by Saturday morning. But, that means a front with rain to freezing rain and rain & snow mix, and finally to snow showers. Can't we just keep it winter...please, Mother Nature?

I know what you mean Scott, this is just retarded. It's going to be 60 here today and then tomorrow is rain changing to snow. One can never get adjusted at this rate.

It's nuts. We have had rain most of the day. A quick check of the radar shows the freezing rain then snow line getting closer. By the time I get my son from school it should be snowing. It will be a rollercoaster for the next several days.

I stand corrected...I turned around as I got up from the computer, HUGE snowflakes. It's like a bunch of snowflakes joined up on the way down. The snow "groups" are about the size of silver dollars. Ground is getting covered fast.

Yeah, I am unhappy with the snow forecast for us. The track is going farther south, 1-3" forecast overnight.
