I didn't know they were building one in Portage. Where is that from Crown Point?
We are going to the new one in Clarksville, IN. It is suppose to be the 2nd largest one.
Have you ever been to the one in Gurnee, just north of Chicago?

When I used to live in Chicago, I would occasionally make the trip up to Gurnee Mills. Nice place. Too bad I wasn't doing any hunting at the time.

You'll like that race scanner. We've had one for a few years. Don't just use it at the races, the wife will listen to it at home. Sometimes you will be shocked what you can pick up with it.

Sometimes you will be shocked what you can pick up with it. I had a friend who was a scanner fanatic when I lived in New England. He even had one mounted in his vehicle. We would here McDonald's as we drove by, police calls, etc. He stopped listening when he intercepted a cell phone call, an intimate phone call...between two men (not that there's anything wrong with it- Seinfeld). His usage dropped considerably after that experience.

I wasn't going to mention it, but since Scott did, ;D my wife also intercepted some cell phone calls, like three days straight, it was a man and a woman having an affair.
So be careful if you are using a cell phone. ;D
