The biggest Ive seen is about a 135-140 class 8 or 10. It was kinda dark and all I saw was rack. We were going to shoot him, but the scope wasnt gathering enough light to see and the sights dont work as it has had a scope on the gun since it was bought. He is what I have been ater all year.

The largest deer I ever actually saw was when I was 14 and hunting with my grandfather. My grandfather had shot a 300# (dressed out) buck and had seen another that he said was bigger so I guess he knew what a big deer looked like. It was the last time I shot a deer with a gun At 150yrds. he looked like a moose (we were in Maine) and when I raised my rifle , grandpa said moose to stop me. Then a second later he said (he never swore before or after in my presents) "shit its a deer! I only had a 20' window before he got back into the thick brush on the other side of the tote road we were sitting on. I held the shoulder and as he steped forward I hit the trigger and heard a WHAP! as the buck hunched up high in the air and then he was gone. I can still see it like I was just there...listening to my gut shot buck crashing into the timber and out of my life It turned out that my new savage .300 had a defective breech and the stock had turned it in the reciever enough to hit 2' left at 150yrds. It took my father (a proffesional gun smith) a few months to find the defective machine work and repair it. That was it for me and guns. I never will put that level of trust in something I cannot work on or detect problems with as it lays in my hands Today ( having much more exsperience ), I would say that particular buck was larger than any I have seen in the flesh to this day.
