I was thinking of purchasing the Savage 114 American Classic 30-06 and was wondering if anyone has tried this rifle and let me know what it's like

I used to have an FFL and sold several Savage rifles, (I'm buying one now in fact) and every buyer loved their Savage rifle. I don't think you can go wrong buying a Savage. The 114 American Classic is a fine looking shooting iron and I've read good reviews for it."Shoots as good as it looks"

I'd love to hear a full review of those Savages if you have one prepared Redd! I personally love my Mod 111 in .270 with the accutrigger!!

Sorry michi, I don't have anything prepared and it was 15-20 years ago that I sold those rifles. I've never heard a bad word from those purchasers since though and they were all local so I'd have heard from them if there'd been any complaints. One guy absolutely loved his and came back to buy another one but I'd already given up my FFL by then so he had to go elsewhere.
