Mrs. Bowslap and the children returned from their camping trip today.....discovered that one of their cousins inadvertently dumped lamp fuel all over one of our blankets....a real nice one that's usually on our bed....and MY pillow ...still don't know how she made off with it.....needless to say, they're most likely going in the trash. Anyone know of anything that'll get the lamp fuel out, or am I SOL?.I have a funny feeling I already know the answer, but the blanket is a real nice one...hate to toss it if it can be saved....'slap....

I'm going to go out on a limb here and agree that you are probably SOL. You might eventually get the smell out but I doubt you'd ever get the stain out.
Only possibility might be trying a dry cleaner and see what they could do for you.

Wash it in Dawn detergent,,,it takes diesel fuel out of clothes it should take care of coleman fuel. Wash it in cold water. If you use hot water, the stain will set in.
