Hey guys what is the best Add ware/Spyware remover program I can Download for free? I am looking for a program that removes the infections. I have a AVG Anti Virus Program but that just removes viriuses, not spyware. I am tight on cash so what can I do I dont have $30 bucks to purchase a program?

The very best bar none is a program called Spy Subtract. I've tried them all and this is by far the most thorough as well as the easiest to use. And the best part is that it's free!! download.intermute.com/?p=sp&o=1005 |

try goin to www.pcworld.com the have adaware and spybot search and destroy which are the two i use most but you can also read the last month magazine without having to buy it and they have a huge free download section for everything from utilites to fire walls to pop up blockers try this page www.pcworld.com/resource/infocenter/0,ctrid,7,ic,SpywareandSecurity,00.asp# is has articles and reveiws of the latest programs and which are junk and those that are good |

tried the first link www.pcworld.com and it worked but the second link doesn't click the whole url you have to copy and paste or type it to where it ends with the asp# |

You'll be pleasantly surprised!!  Very easy to use!! And after the Pro series runs out, you can still use it. You just can't do a quick scan. But I haven't found too much difference between the full and the quick type scans. |

I have used all the above. On my old laptop I used ad-aware & Spybot with good results. Each one did stuff the other didn't, so I would run them both for checks.
When I bought this computer Spy Subtract came with it and it worked well. When my HD crashed recently, I went with Spysweeper, but it is a $30 purchase from Best Buy.
Use any and all the above...and a firewall.
