This board was easy's idea, but I am taking it upon myself to share this with bow hunters. I built this about 4 years ago. Cheap, (about$30.00-$35.00) portable & weather proof. The feet sections are removable for portability. I made the top frame about 40" square Parts consist of: 2" PVC pipe (16-18 ft. 6 elbows 2 T's w/ female threads on one side (bottom) 2 Connector sleeves slipXmale threads (bottom of frame) 2 heavy "S" hooks 2 T's (offset) 2 Eyebolts, (8" long) 4 nuts & 4 washers for bungee 1 rubber "bungee strap" 24" 2 eyebolts, (2 1/2" long) to 2 nuts & 2 washers for bag PVC primer & glue 2 Large hose clamps (worm screw type) (hose clamps are mounted onto the bottom T's of the "leg assemblies" where the legs "screw on" to the top frame. Hope someone can use this!

Thanks for the idea. What is the length of the base supports? How is the stability with arrow shots in the 250fps+ range?

I have a friend who shot at about 315. No problem. The base supports are about 36-38"" also. (main pipe pieces about 15". I use the Morrell outdoor range target on it. The "bungee" is set to ride about 4-6" up on the back of the bag. It's actually very sturdy with just enough give to cushion the hits. You do have to position the clamps on the base supports to keep them from splitting out as easily. TIP ON ASSEMBLY: Lay the top assembly on a flat surface to ensure all parts are straight, joints slipped together before glueing. On the bases, glue the pipe into the t's, and screw onto the frame. "Slip" the feet (elbows) on unglued, and set the stand on a level surface. Then glue in place making sure they sit "flat". (the elbows for the feet help the stand to sit better on uneven ground.

Thanks for the info. I have worked a bit with PVC before. Morrell's are the only FP bag, IMO. I am partial to their Yellow Jacket BH target, too. ;D

I may do it with some screw-on caps on the base so I can fill the base supports with sand for added stability.
Thanks again for the idea.
