Well .... after having totaled out two recurves in three weeks I am back to the longbow ;D The Mamba split the bottom limb as I was drawing on a deer last week and it is going back to Martin for a potential repair. So we will see what happens from here Wish me luck

Well my first Longbow deer ended in tragedy We got it all on film and it was just nuts!...three shots before I got her ;D The first shot took a hand full of hair off the chest and I mean a hand full we were able to call her back in with a primos bleat can and the second shot found my upper limb battling with a tree limb Needless to say , that arrow went well over her back Once again we were able to draw her back with the can and now she had me at full draw for near a minute. 54# in 60 seconds hurts you and somehow I hit her three or four inches back and caught some gut We waited an hour and checked for blood which there was plenty of but still....being that I hit the stomach we decided to back out and wait till morning when I could come back with the dog. Next morning my dog found what was left....only 100 yards from where we stopped the night before The Yotes found here and had a good meal , leaving not even a bite behind for my poor pup Well , that was the first deer I ever lost to yotes so I guess I am still doing better than some I will continue for the rest of the year with the longbow so I will have more chances anyway .... I hope
