I had twilight (at best) tonight when I got home from work and was spanking the soda cans all over the yard with the longbow I am really loving this instinctive shooting my friends It is just so cool to take less than 2 seconds to come from waist height to a shot arrow which hits a soda can out at 20+ yards. Those pigs are so out of luck this spring ;D

Good to hear bowtech. Maybe some of Asbell's book stuck in your head after all. That is one thing I like about it, as you said in a post, just like throwning a ball. You don't think about it, you just throw it.

Yup! I had some old Basketballs that were shot so my youngest son was throwing them down the hill past me and I would shoot as they passed. Great practice I generally ended up right on the target ball but I would hit low....right on the ground under it Dont know what it is I am focusing on but I will work it out When I was a kid and had that great eye I could hit anything that was moving with an arrow but now.... Have you ever seen "October white tails" with Barry Wensel?. Great trad. shooter and a video I would Highly reccomend.
