One thing I have noticed while going through a couple of different traditional catalogs is that on average, the BH weights are heavier than when shooting a compound. What are the benefits/drawbacks from say, for example, switching from 100gr to 150gr?
Is getting a broadhead adapter so glue on BHs are an option, a good idea?

Its all for the FOC scottC The glue ons are designed for qood shafting which is much heavier and to maintain that FOC you therefore need more weight up front. The heavy screw in's are for the guys that follow the Momentum line of thought. Trad. equipment (having less K.E. due to less speed that modern equipment) needs everything it can get and sometimes (sometimes) this is best done with a heavier head. My suggestion is to go to BowJacksons page , use the energy calculator and start messing around untill you find what you want. Then build an arrow around those specs. If you want my 2cents I'll be here
