Good grief! Thats a heck of alot better looking than the pictures prior! Now , just in case no one told you...dont leave it strung if you are not going to shoot it for a few days and dont ever let it stand on its limb tip. Lay it on the floor under the bed or across some supports on the wall. Not trying to be a smart A$$ , just want to make sure that this fine bow lasts you along time ------------- Now when are you going to get out there with it?. I know I,d be shooting it in the house if I had too ;D

Thanks for the info about resting it on its tip. I will keep it strung, and at least practice drawing it several times a day, until the stringer arrives. Recently, there was a bit of a debate on stickbow.com about whether to keep it strung or not. I will keep it unstrung as much as possible, and resting under the bed. As for the pics we saw...wow, they definately did not do the bow justice. Too close up, I guess. She is sharp looking. I almost want to try it out with my current arrows until I get some cut. I may have to visit my shop....

Dont let that stop you! try the arrows you have now. They may not be perfect but you will get a good feel for the bow so that when you do have the right arrows you'll be better ready. I saw the piece and debate on the trad. forum. Some made the point that most bow damage is done while stringing and unstringing the bow. so the solution was to leave it strung Tell you what .... take your time and be careful and keep it unstrung when you are putting it aside for periods of time. I have never twisted a limb but I know that a continuous bend will weaken a bow over a period of time. That period may be a long time but whats a long time? If it can happen , why chance it Cant wait to hear how you do your first time out!

Depending on the weather, I will take the bow and a quiver full of arrows to my club tomorrow morning. Although, the weather calls for high winds by morning. Hard to shoot in steady 20-30mph winds and gusts to 45mph during snow showers....but I'll see. I am anxious to shoot her!!!

She looks like a dandy Scott. I'm sure your quite anxious. Yes, I am, but it will have to wait I'm afraid. Winds are steady at 24 with gusts to 30mph already, and they are only supposed to increase. Oh well...one more day.

(PS. you better get him a seahawks shirt now) LOL ;D As I tell everyone, if you want to send him one, he will wear it. My parent's got him the Jet's top last Christmas. His godmother is a Bears fan and it kills her everytime she sees him in Packer gear. So, I told her to buy him Bears gear. ;D Mom is a Giant's fan.
