This test was done out of a slightly de-tuned bow to reflect a closer to ..the normal condition of the real world.
The bow is detuned to allow the arrow to launch slightly tail left and slightly high.
Since a majority of people do not shoot perfectly tuned bows (for whatever reason), I felt this test was something that should be done for the average guy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- All shots were at 35yrds and flights of 30 arrows per. head.
Arrows were fletched with 4 feathers for Max drag and guidance
1st. place was the Wac 'em Broadhead
In a Word...Amazeing! Truely the best head I have even witnessed in flight.
2nd. Place was the Montec G5 Broadhead It was only 2nd. because of a desire to hit low (1/2" on average)when shot with two blades up as opposed to one blade up.
3rd. Place was the Muzzy Phantom I fully exspected the two blades to kick some butt here. Perhaps they under performed due to the overall larger surface area across the face of the blade.
On average they hit right on or off by as much as 2"
There were no other places worth mention as good performance
The Muzzy 3blade flew great with one blade up but failed to stay within 4" when shot two blades up.
The Muzzy 4 blade was 4" off and rarely on the mark
The Slick trick was worse of all , being up to 6" out and never once hitting the mark
These were the heads I chose to test because they are some of the best heads that I have tested in the last two years in hunting conditions.

What about the Sonic/Liberty line? My 100gr Sonics are as consistent as my fieldpoints. Either my fieldpoints are really off or my bh are right on the mark. ;D

Saw them at the Front Porch. I like them a lot especially the lifetime guarantee!! Looks like may have a change of heads soon!! I like the fact that they are going to make sure the edge is razor sharp before packaging. That was the one thing the Montecs failed at. But with diligence and practice, you copuld still shave hair with em. Give me a heads up when JW gets some in. I want first crack at them!!

The only bad thing I've found is by today's standards these bhs have a small cutting dia. The 100gr is 7/8" and the 125 is an inch. The Liberty head has a bigger cutting dia. becuase the blades are held differently in the ferul but it an aluminum ferul. The Sonics are steel. All in all, I'm really satisfied with these heads. The blades are shaving sharp right out the pack and probably some of the thickest blades out there for replaceable blades. They fly and hit just like my fieldpoints, the groups are identical.

Back burner for right now but if I find a backer I am off and running again. I have given serious consideration to approaching a manufacturer and just selling the idea but it easy to get burnt that way

Michi, the best I've found is on eBay, $30/6 bh and $20/ replacement blades. You still have to pay shipping so for my money I'd rather order from someone I know and KCS sells them for not too much more.
