Contacted a land owner in District 315 and was granted permission to hunt her property for three dates. Nov. 3rd,9th and 10th . All week days. My friend Chuck has hunted there for the last seven years and has killed bulls five times and a cow once. This is an "open" area for either sex and no antler size restrictions.Should be a lot of fun! ;D

GOOD LUCK SCOTT, & I know you won't fergit the pic's & story ;D Thanx Larry ! I sure will. This tract is enrolled in Mt's Block Managment Program. Where the land owner through the State only allows one party of hunters on their land per day at a time.Days are "booked" on a first to contact - first choice basis.

A similar program here in MI that really has been corrupted with "donations" being the key to getting the prime dates and access.Congrats on your success Scott!!

Thanx Gents ! As far as "donations" being used for prefered dates, Montana's Fish, Wildlife and Parks keeps a pretty close watch over it's Block Management Program.Violators can be removed from the program. But , I'm sure it may be happening here once in awhile also. As far as a prefered hunting dates... In my situation it makes no difference.I guess there are pros and cons to for both if you think about it.
