I made a purposeful 40yrd. shot on a grey today with my 50# Momba Recurve and it took him right where I was aiming. It is an amazing feeling when you smoke an animal that size at that distance without the aid of anything more than yourself I highly reccomend giving it a try

Great shot BT, I keep thinking while I sitting in my stand seeing nothing but squirrels that I might take a shot but with my luck as soon as I launched an arrow at one here would come a deer and I wouldn't have time to nock another up. I will definately give it a try one day though.

I was hoping to see some squirrels last Saturday. I saw nothing on stand except that doe and a couple of young deer. I would have taken a shot...

You've got your pick of reds, gophers or chuipmunks at my new location!! There are a ton of each!! Great shooting BT!!

Personally I think that reds are superior eating and I would rather take them any day but...reds are where I draw the line in archery 22 or a pellet gun...fine with me, but a red with an arrow is pretty much a combo of skill and luck and costs to much when you have neither! ;D

I've taken 2 or 3 with a bow, and I have missed 2 or 3 with a bow. With the cost of arrows I do not think that I am going to shoot at any more with my bow.

I would take to the tree seat and bait them up That gives you action , gives them a sporting chance and you dont lose arrows
