Catfish will attack & eat just about anything. When I worked in FLA., one of my roomates was from Texas. We would go down to the canals and catch catfish with kernals of corn.

Believe it or not, I've used a similar technique once. It was an old finishing nail though. It actually worked on some gills. Fortunately I got a job and could buy some real equipment eventually!! ;D

I recieved an Email from 1 of my website members with his large 125lb. Cat Fish, he was fishing Lake cummberland. Congrads to Wayne Messersmith. He used 4 day old Chicken Liver with 3 pieces of corn. He also said it took 45 mintues to land this big boy!

I hear ya guys, I'm just glad he sent the picture to back it up. I know there are some whoppers out there but WOW!!!! A 125lb. cat will feed a lot of folks.

If you live in Kentucky you've got it made for big CATS. Like the photo above, I received another email & picture from 2 website members of a HUGE Catfish. This one came out of the Vaal River, in Kentucky. I NEED TO GET DOWN THERE after this trip I'm on.

If you live in Kentucky you've got it made for big CATS. Like the photo above, I received another email & picture from 2 website members of a HUGE Catfish. This one came out of the Vaal River, in Kentucky. I NEED TO GET DOWN THERE after this trip I'm on. Now thats a big boy.

You know hound dogger I've been fishing for over 40 years and I've never caught anything that large in fresh water, Now in salt water I've caught many 100+ pound Blue Marlin', Tuna ect.
