A little smallmouth, but mind you it was caught in a pond in New York City! Bad picture too, does it no justice!

I hate to say this but, I do believe that is a small largemouth, not a smallmouth. I could be wrong, but I dont believe I am.

That's a largemouth? Well I'll be damned! The other guys who came later did seem kind of confused when I said that there was a smallmouth in there. Had me fooled. Honestly, I am a trout fisherman, I only used ot fish these ponds when I was a kid.
I live in NYC, but I live in Staten Island, which is the least "City" borough. We have a few places like this, although this one and one other are the most "wild". although small, they are both in NYS designateed "Wild Areas", which means that they don't do anything other than pick up garbage from them I like going there because I can drive 10 minutes and fell like I am upstate in the real wilderness.

You know Air it's nice to have places like that so close by. You don't find places like that in most cities. I drive about 20 minutes or so to get to a nice little wilderness area here in Michigan, so I know what you mean. ENJOY THE OUTDOORS, IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO BE. TJ
