My best friend came over for the weekend and we had a few to drink the night before. Well niether of us felt very good the next day so instead of hunting we went fishing. After sitting there for an hour and only catching smallies, bam my poll went down. After fighting em for awhile a reeled him in and there was a 8 pound large mouth on the end of the line. Sorry I didnt get any pics but I do have a witness. Whats funny as I wasnt feeling bad anymore after I caught him.

I have many a fish story that are true. I never carried a camera while on a boat. Most of the fish I caught in the ocean were 20# or above. If not, we threw them back.
Still haven't done any fresh water fishing, so I have no idea about catching a big or small mouth bass.

I have been watching some of that shark hunting on OLN. I think it would be very fun to do. The only thing different is that I would carry my glock.

We had one of those long sticks with .22 shells in it.Shark fishing is fun. We would surf cast for them at night off Cape Cod. Also, caught several in the Caribbean. Good eating!!!
Anyways, sorry to hijack your bass fishing thread. I caught a sea bass once. ;D

Not sure what type of hangover you people are talking about, the only hangover I get is hanging over the side to bring in my BASS, then hangover to release it back into the water so another fisherman or kid has the chance to catch what I caught. I've been fishing for 47 years now the biggest BASS I have on record is from Lake Toho, in Florida a 16lb 4oz which we took a picture of then released back to his water home. TJ - bassrod2

Well Mike, I'll looki in the files to see where we put the picture of the 16 pounder. It may even be on the website photo's. I will send you the 12.03 bass caught on Lake Farmington in New Mexico. That picture is on the front page of the website. clix.to/bassindex. I have so many pictures it's hard to keep track.
