4-5 lbs. Venison (roast or steaks) 2 bottles of Jack Daniel's barbecue sauce 1 can of beer
Place the venison in a crock pot or slow cooker, cover the meat with 1 bottle of barbecue sauce and the can of beer. Cook on low setting for 7-8 hours. Remove the venison and drain the excess broth into a separate bowl. Shred the venison using 2 forks and place it back into the crock-pot. Spoon some of the excess broth back into the shredded venison until desired consistency is achieved. Stir in additional barbecue sauce to taste and heat for 5 minutes on low heat. Serve on fresh hard rolls.
