Now is the time!! I have been buying things all winter and spring. I just got a replacement bag for my Yellow Jacket, a Portable Bowpress, and a Bohning 3d quiver, and a new string. So I think I am set for now. Or atleast Mrs. Elk wants me to be , I am sure I will find something closer to crunch time!

There are a lot of things that I would like to have, I don't really need anything.
I'm sure I will pick a few things up here and there wether I need them or not. ;D

Property and permission to hunt it!! That's about the only thing I'm concerned with getting. Something closer to home. I'm always asking around and talking to people. Eventually I'm gonna find the ideal place.

I'm with you on that one Ted. If I could get that, I would give all my equipment away and just go sit in the woods. ;D
That is the one thing that I would like more than anything, to be able to find a place close to home that I could hunt exclusivly. But unfortunately that close to impossible to find around here.

A word of advise on the GPS?? I have a nice garmin and it works great out on the water or in a open field,,but once in the woods? I do better on my own,,lol. Hunter243 I`m with ya on keeping the hunting spirit going,,I got 3-4 turkey calls and a video on turkey hunting also. I have pretty much everything I need, but there are a few things I want,,, a laser range finder is tops on the list,, then a decent muzzle loader is second.

Hmmm...my list...this could take a while...lol. I would love a new Switchback XT, but it is definately not i nthe budget this year! Honestly, I have pretty much everything I need or want. Thinking of switching over to blazers, so they are on my list. Could use another box of 50 tree steps. Thats something I'm gonna have to get soon too. Other then that, if the season started tomorrow, I'm ready to go!!!!

I would like a new set of camos. Got a nice company here in Tn. that makes some that blend in quite well. Blending in, isnt as good as playing the wind and shot placement, but it helps. Can you see the hunter? He is at full draw.

That's some nice camo. If it weren't for the starp from his stand, I'd still be looking!

I just bought a new set of cammies. I forget what their called now, should arrive next week, but they're fleece and the same pattern Tred Barta usually wears. Coming from Cabelas. I'd rather buy from a local shop, but I cant find anything even close to this stuff locally.
Next on my list are optics. Not sure exactly what, but something decent. Plus a bunch of little stuff like cover scents and stuff.
Hey Hoosier!! I just may have a muzzleloader for sale next year. I just bought a T/C Black Diamond this year. Inline- 28" barrel- fiber optic sights, 150 grain capacity. Shoots great! I dont know if you would actually want it though. We have to shoot a cap out here, no 209s. The only reason I would ever sell it is thanks to Intruder, He is doing everything he can to get me to sell my guns and buy a new bow. I'm such a sucker for peer pressure I just might do it!

LOL!!!! I warned you before you ever started buddy!!!!! once you start shootin a bow it's all over My list is to get all my arrows switched to blazer vaynes (so I can get wifflebatboy's jig back to him ) and I got a new call to goof around with! I think that is gonna be about it for this yr! Not even gonna be able to do much if any hunting this year

Oh Yeah??? Well why dont you sell me all your guns for cheap then? Actually, I'll never sell my frontstuffer anyway. I have learned from past experience that as soon as you sell a firearm, you wish you hadn't. I dont know why I even said what I said. Anyway, I remember now what I got for camo. It's Outfitter Original. And BTW, its wiffle BALL batboy. A wiffle bat is just a piece of plastic, but a wiffle BALL is something special!

Burris makes some great optics,,I have a set of Burris binocs and wouldn`t trade them for anything,, When I do get me a smoke pole I definately want a 209. And yes you are correct once you sell it you wish you hadn`t,,lol.

I just remembered I want a Therma cell also. No more scentless spray for me. Comes off after sweating while dragging a deer.

I have 3 burris scopes and never a problem with any of them. My local gun shop was having problems with Burris though, and dropped them. I could buy them mail order, but I dont want to buy optics without looking through them first.
What is a thermacell?

I need to get a new set of cammies myself, a new pair of boots(couldn't resist wearing the ones I got from Hoosier...now they're wore OUT!!!!), a tree stand, and a box/nylon zipper bag to store my bow tools in, rather than suffing 'em in the bow case.
Never tried a muzzle loader(will in the future), but would like to add a rifle to my collection.
Who am I kidding?! I could have a list a mile long... ;D
....'slap..........
