Well this seems to be a topic that brings any man or woman to attention. It doesn`t matter if it is hunting, fishing, hot rods, cooking or whatever Custom Equipment reigns supreme among people. Why get something Custom?
Well outside of higher quality and having it to fit your wants and needs it gives you a sense of individuality, you have your very own and there are no others like it.
I also think that having Custom Equipment gives you a greater appreciation for what you have and a higher level of confidense.
The confidense that it gives you is a major factor, we can`t do anything to the best of our abilities without confidense.
I know when I ordered my Storm and had them build it to my specs it gave me a sense of being part of that piece of equipment rather than just picking it up off the shelf and paying for it. The same goes with building my own bow strings, I can control what and how that string is, I can tweak that string to suit my needs anytime without having to special order it and wait for weeks.
Another plus side to custom equipment is that it helps out the builders,,the more they sell the more they will look to improve what they make,, or find more cost efficient ways offer it to the public. There are some out there that offer Custom equipment at Custom prices and only offer generic quality,, you have to be selective in who you buy from more so than what you buy. Talk to them,, read them while you talk don`t just listen to the words they speak. If someone builds something and sells it they are in fact salesman,,salesmen sell. Finding the ones that aren`t pressed for your bussiness and don`t care if you go somewhere else shows me that they know what they have, if you choose not to go with them it could be your loss. Find someone who doesn`t push their product down your throat or bash everyone else for what they build, find someone willing to tell you exactly what they do and why they do it. Find someone that is willing to listen to YOU and what you want.
I think then once you get into the Custom end of things you will never go back.
