I shoot a PSE Firestorm Lite. It's a short bow, 29" with a 8 1/2 Brace height.
Follow Intruders link and you can see pics of a lot of members bows.

High Country Brute Force, and a Martin Prowler for a backup. I much prefer shooting the Prowler, but with the $$ I had to give for the Brute Force it has got to be the primary hunting bow

Alpine Impact Xtreme. The lightest bow on the market, to my knowledge.

michijunior...to answer your question "how good are they?" everyone has an opinion and every opinion depends on the exsperience in field and with that manufacture I used to get up on a high horse but I am getting away from that due to two reasons. First....any bow can kill a deer second....any bow can miss a deer ;D What you are willing to put up with inbetween the time you get the bow and finally get the shot is between you and yourself

I've gotten back into bowhunting, and archery in general, after a LONG abscence. I currently on a PSE Pulsar that does better than some folks would believe, and an '03 Reflex Extreme. I will have a Storm Archery product in my hands in due time(For those who might not know, Storm Archery is an Indiana-based maufacturer-oh yeah!). What works for some, doesn't for others. BTW, ask Hoosier Outdoorsman about his latest "experiment" with a 4 inch brace height. That's not a typo, folks- a 4-inch BRACE HEIGHT. ...'slap.....

I know you will be drooling when he brings home that new baby. ;D I didn't hear him say the one he shot was a 4" brace height. That would be something to see.

I have owned and shot many bows. I currently shoot a 2006 Hoyt Trykon & a 2006 Bowtech Tribute. They are both sweet shooters. If anyone hasn't shot one yet, go and shoot them. They are the best bows I have ever shot. They are expensive but they are well worth the money.

I shoot an old Pearson Spoiler. Got it in 1992. Time to get a new one, don't you think? Still shoots like a dream though.
