Ok guys I am in the market for a youth or ladies bow for Mrs.Elk trying to get her involved in my archery too ;D. She is a very sm lady at a towering 5'3" and I bet she cant pull no more than 40#, I will just guess her DL to be between 24-26". If ya come across a good cheep one plz let me know.

My wife has a PSE The Beast, works pretty good for her. Has a decent adjusment range. 30-50 pull wt and I think its adjustable from 24-28 draw length.
We looked at quite a few, the adreneline, the spyder, the genisis, and a few others, but just like anyone looking for a bow, she liked the feel of the beast the best so that is what we went with.

Matt- That bow is as old as us!! You can do better I think. The price seems right up front, but not when you end up having to replace all the dry rotted things- bushings, strings, cables, etc. Just make sure you make an informed choice. My oldest boy might have something in the works if he wins a certain contest!!

ya want to be careful buddy!!!! don't want to jump into a cheapie and have her not like archery because of the bow not saying to spend loads but keep it a well made bow that will not feel cheap and loud etc when shot!

The PSE is a nice starter bow and for that price it looks as though you can't go wrong. I'd have to give it further inspection to give you a true recommendation though. As for the Alpine, I'm not too familiar with it so I won't say anything on that one.
