This is a total surprise. He has no idea. just going to send it to him, and it dosen't matter what colors are, I think the bow is an odd camo that browning used but it looks good on the one I have seen up close. The camo stuff will look just fine!!!

Got the quiver boxed up. I also put my old stabilizer in there too. It is a Carolina Lore. My son has been sick, so I should have it at the post office tomorrow.

OK! lets see what we have here ;DThanks to Hunter mike: sight, and arrow rest. ;DThanks to Scottc: quiver and stabilizer I have a bow on the way, a wrist sling and peep sight for it, 3 beeman 400 arrows, my old release, a 6 pack of broadheads and a broadhead wrench, about 10 of my used but good feild points, an "archery box" containing a small razor knife, a couple of xtra vanes, a half stick of Bohning string wax, and an extra arrow nok. Is there anything else that he will need to get started?

Thanks for asking about my son Kasey. He is slowly on the mend, I guess. Still has a nasty cough. He missed all this week of school, except for three hours on Wednesday when I thought he was well enough to go. His MD had him get a chest x-ray, which was clear, but they are having a hard time with this illness.
My son is 5 y.o. and is a special needs kid. He has Dravet's Syndrome or Severe Myoclonic Epilepsy. The myoclonic part means he has literally hundreds of small seizures throughout the day, in addition to the grand mal seizures people know about. Since he is on two different seizure meds twice a day, MDs have a hard time prescribing meds that won't counteract, so he has to use over the counter stuff, and it takes longer for him to get better. This illness though has been his longest so far.
We have no other kids. My son needs all the attention we can give him.

Scott, you are family now. As michi said if there is anything you need just ask. Consider the little buck hunter in our prayers too.

Thanks for the kind words. He could always use a prayer. Thanks also for the offers. My son is named Scott too.
I recently got the Lancaster Archery catalog, and they have a great page on youth bows. I found a simple long bow with suction cup arrows which he will get for Christmas. He gets a few therapies for motor skill issues and speech, but I am hoping the occupational therapist will work simple bow drawing movements into his routine. ;D
He likes to go into the woods with me at the bow club. Mainly because he loves numbers and as we go from station to station on the BH course, we find another number. LOL
Thanks again for the prayer offers. Please feel free to send him some. It wasn't my intent when I wrote the post, but I greatly appreciate your kind offers.

HMMMM!!!! not sure how I would split them up? there are probably several people who want the winning numbers, so I guess in all fairness I would have to give everyone one number
