I am trying to help a less fortunate friend get set up to do archery, He shot my bow for about 2 hrs one day and is totally hooked with the problem he has no archery equipment, I have a release some arrows and fp's and Bh's a rest and some other odds and ends but I do not have a sight or the most important a bow, If anyone has an older bow or something that needs dusted off and used let me know. draw length 29 and he can shoot 70lbs. of if you have anything else you think he might need that you wouldn't mind letting go let me know any help is very much appreciated

Thank's... I would love to buy him a bow but my fund's are not too great right now either. but I don't mind giving what I have that is extra. This guy has always been there for me so it is time to surprise him. I have a trailer I have been working on, when it sells I will have a small amount of money, so if I can't get something by then I might just see what I can find on ebay or something like that but Thank's for your support

Wow, friends like you are few and far between. I will also rummage through my stuff and let you know. I don't have a lot either. I got a couple of buddies that might have more extra's than I do.

That is why I posted this thread!!! Knew the good people would come out!!! The guy I am doing this for is a great guy, got married a while back and recently a father, only income and they are just in a tight spot right now. He had to sell his toys and I just want to help him out in payment for all the times he has been there for me... For instance. the tranny went out in my blazer, thi was mid december in Idaho(about 2" of ice in the driveway) well he was there helping me replace it the whole time in the freezing cold. There are countless times he has helped me out so Thank you all so much for trying to help me repay him.... When he was here to visit me I took him to the local archery shop and we shot for about 2 hrs!!! he went home and got into the archery class for Idaho's requirements and that is all he has been able to talk about since!!
Thank you so much for any help!! Kasey

No go on the trad stuff I tried but he is totally into the compound thing! That is how most people start I think get into the compound thing then change for a challenge or whatever the reasoning! Thank's though..

You are a great guy Mike!! And you too Kasey!! I sure am glad to have met both of you even if it is through Cyberland!! For those of you that don't know Intruder, he came through for me when I needed to rehab my shoulder by sending me a TheraBand rehab tool. It has helped immensely in the short time I've had it. Thanks again Kasey for helping this hunter get back in the stand!!.

You're going to make my head swell, the wife already says my head is too big. No seriously, I'm glad I can do it. Like I said, in today's world I could be on the other side tomorrow, you just never know. Kasey is the one working hard to return a good deed. You can't have too many friends like him. Even in cyberworld.

That looks like a winner!! Just make sure the strings and cables are in good shape before your buddy starts shooting. Wouldn't want anything to happen because of something that could be fixed relatively cheap!! Give it a good going over and he should be good to go. I've always liked the Brownings. My son shoots a Micro Midas and that thing is smoking fast for a youth bow!! Good luck with everything Kasey!!

I hope it doesn't matter, but the sight and rest I sent are cammo and that bow appears to be black. Hope your buddy ain't into fashion cause the two might clash a bit. Glad to hear you did win the bow. Does he know you are getting it for him or is it going to be a surprise?
