Bob's membership to his hunting club is on the line tonight. Members are meeting to vote if he will stay in or be expel. This past season he mistakenly shot two "button bucks"...and it upset him on one of the hunts that it put him in the hospital for heart stint number 3. He picked it up because he was so mad that he shot it by mistake. Bob is really down about it and his Doctor wanted to put him back in the hospital yesterday but he did not want to go in. Continue to keep him in your prayers that he will pull through this no matter what the decision will be. Thanks!

Like Larry said, we all make mistakes. That is why there are erasers on pencils. Not knowing all the details, it still sounds like the other members of the Club are being rather harsh over Bob's mistake and overreacting. Makes one wonder if any of those guys have ever done the something similar and thought nothing about it.
IMO, aint worth worrying over with Bob being in the condition he is in,but I do hope for his sake that he gets to keep his membership . If he dosen't, just put it behind you. Continued Prayers from MT..

I agree with Scott, sounds a bit harsh.
I hope he comes to realize that his life is not worth those that are that critical.
Just remember Marian, we are here for you and Bob when you need us.

Tell Bob if they are that willing to put a friend and long time member on the chopping block for making a mistake maybe he is better off being away from them and with REAL friends.

Exactly.
Mistakes are called as such for a reason.....it's not intentional, which is a whole'nother story.
Best of luck for your husband with his hunting club, and more importantly, his and YOUR health. You 2 will always have us here at the Lodge......bank on that. Prayers continued? They've never stopped.........'slap.........

Bob received a letter in the mail today from the Secretary-Treasurer of the Club and has been terminated effective March 8th. They have given him 60 days from March 9, 2007 to remove his personal property from the Club. He has to notify an officer of the Club at any time during this 60 day period to enter the lease. He was also asked to return keys to the locks on the access gates at the end of the 60 days, which will be on or before May 7, 2007.
A hard blow - but this is what Bob was afraid of. My thanks to all of you for your support/prayers here at the Huntin Lodge. It really means a lot to both of us. They say everything happens for a reason and we have to put it behind us now and put it all in God's hands. Marian

Well everyone - had to put Bob back in the unit this evening. He is very depressed and having suicidal thoughts again. He should be in for about a week to ten days. The Dr's. will tweak his meds and get him back on track...I hope. He is really having a rough time right now. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers....Marian PS: 4pointer...you are right about Bob being better off out of the club. He has been there for 20 years and this is a terrible way to go. Don't need to be around people like that...It's probably a blessing in disguise!

Bob just got home from the hospital today and had a stint put inside a stint. This is rare. He had 70% blockage of a grafted artery of scar tissue, etc. They cleaned it out and put another stint inside it. He also has another artery 50% blocked, but will wait on that one for now. He had a spell on Thurs., at his program and they had to call an ambulance. He was playing cards and all of a sudden felled out of his chair and was out for a bit and then started complaining of chest pains. It is the same stint they put in back in January. I asked the Dr. what if this stint clogs up and he said they would put another stint inside of it. I have never heard of such. The main thing is he is feeling better. Continue to keep him in your prayers please...Marian
