Here's a scent eliminator you can make up for practically nothing that I have used for a couple of years that works as good as the store bought stuff.
16oz distilled water 16oz hydrogen peroxide 1oz unscented liquid soap 1/4 cup baking soda
Use a gallon jug, pour in the distilled water and the hydrogen peroxide and the 1/4 cup baking soda, stir until baking soda is dissolved and then add the 1 oz of unscented liquid soap. Stir gently, trying to avoid making soap suds. Put on the cap, but leave it loose and let it set for 3-4 days. Put contents in spray bottle and spray on your clothing and boots. .
Note: I use either rain water or personally, I like to use pond water because it gives it a little earth scent. Place in a 5 gal. bucket or outside for a day or two as it will foam over for a day or two. Just thought I would pass this along to you guys.

Thanks eazy,,will definately give that a try out. Some of the scent eliminators are getting crazy on their prices, even at the discount stores.

You ain't kidding on the prices. I was looking at some yesterday, $14 for a spray bottle full.
I may have to give this receipe a try. Only question is what is the soap for?

Maybe it is there to make it kind of like a gel to hold it on the clothes

I have no idea what the soap is for, JUST A SIDE NOTE place container in a 5gal. bucket or out side,as it will foam over for a day or two.One time I doubled up on the amount of baking soda to use and you talk about a foamy mess. Guess the old mind ain't as good as it use to be.

eazy~ Thanx for the tip. Sounds like a good mix. I stopped buying commercial scent eliminaters a few years ago.. I also think it's way overpriced . Something else I like to do is after washing all my hunting clothes in baking soda, I hang them in my plum tree for a few days letting the sun , wind and even rain keep them fresh before packing them in my clean action packer.

I do the same thing as you with the pine branches. When I used to bow hunt, I even kept pine branches in my hard bow case with the rest of my bow gear.
