Well it has been a running urge of mine to go to the local Gander Mtn. and see if I can put an arrow through their target and the their concrete back wall, I was putting pretty good dents in the concrete wall with my old Pse Triton enough that it would pop out the nocks on contact,,now that Matilda hasn`t found a target yet she couldn`t penetrate completely I think it is time to test her out on the real deal Plus the bow tech at the Gander is a total know it all dweeb and can`t wait to see the look on his face when he see`s this

So does that mean you are going today to give it the test?
To bad I can't be there to see his eyes. Let us know how it goes.

Well me and slap went down and did some shooting,, looks like they had replaced some of their targets, I chose 1 that had the least wear and tear and so did slap and we both were mushrooming our field tips on the back wall,, we didn`t go through it but definately caught everyones attention.

Yeah.....that metallic SMACK! doesn't make ya feel good......well, it was kinda satisfying knowing that my 3 year old Reflex was hitting a LOT harder and FASTER than the other 2 guys that were shooting brand-new Bowtechs. There was also an older guy in there shooting his recurve. No sight, no rest, all skill....and he repeatedly hit his mark. Definitely slower than mine or Hoosier's bows, but it was cool to watch him go.
I got off easy...only 1 boogered field tip. Hoosier ended up with what, 3-4? ;D
My new Highlander string(hunter green and safety orange) definitely was an eye-catcher....had everyone staring at it. Thanks again, buddy!
Hope to get over to Highlander Archery Research Laboratories(Tracy's house...LOL) and practice some more on the outdoor range here soon....gotta get back in the swing of things!
