What is the silliest or most funny statement or question you have ever been asked in relation to Archery? I had one sunday I could not believe, this guy had baught my old PSE Triton and I refletched his arrows with 2 inch Blazers. Now from the way the guy talked and handled his equipment I figured he knew a little bit about bows and arrows. WRONG ! ! LMAO He called me sunday and said he had a problem with the 2 inch Blazer vanes and wanted me to refletch his arrows with 4 inch, I asked what was wrong and he said. " My arrows are spinning in flight " They shouldn`t be doing that and I want them fixed, I couldn`t believe this came out of his mouth,,I was stunned for a second and regained my composure and began explaining to him why they are suppossed to do this and what it does to the arrows flight. Then he wanted to argue with me that his 4 inch didn`t spin?? I told him his old arrows had a problem or he wasn`t watching them very well as they should be spinning too. So he decided to stick with them and see what happens. It is funny how people get ideas like that, maybe some buddy of his told him arrows are to fly still? I have no clue.

I had a hunting partner that thought that I needed only 1 pin for my crossbow for anything from 0 to 50 yards. Had to explain to him that it really wasn't a gun.

I have heard alot of people having the misconception that a crossbow is equal to a gun, while it is a very very deadly weapon it still has its disadvantages compared to a compound bow and vice versa

Makes my IQ jump up in comparison.....believe me, he got a good razzing on the way to the Gander this evening!

Having been in archery a good long time, I'm amazed at all the "form" comments I hear. It's as if there is only one way to shoot a bow correctly. I guess comfort must be overrated to these guru's.And funny thing is, I must be doing it all wrong according to these experts. I shoot with a bit long DL and anchor it past my nose tip and shoot wiithout a peep. I figure if I change I might be able to reduce those 3" groups at 50 yards. ;D ;D

I know what you mean Ted,,I get a lot of guys that their draw length is actually to short for them. I end up lengthening it out for them and they are amazed at how much more at ease they are at full draw.
