Deep fried sounds good too, never even thought about cooking them that way.

i like to fry the young ones.the old ones i'll cook the meat off of the bones in the crockpot.then make squirrel and dumplins

Squirrel and Dumplins, never heard of that one. You might want to add that one to the mess hall.

I have not been this year :(I did take the .22 along a few times when I was working on fence, and I did shoot 1 big old fox squirre that was covered in turkey ticks. This pic. was taken last season after a 3 person 2 hour hunt at my best place to go. If pic. does not work right click on the X and select show picture
