Please include size and manufacturer/Model ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Myself , I have gotten away from mechanics and gone back to fixed heads. To date if everything hinges on head performance I will screw on a Magnus Stinger.

I too like the magnus stingers,,I use 85 grain,,but upon weighing them I found alot of weight difference between 3 heads.First 1 was 87, then went up to 94 by the time I got to #3. Not sure if this is a Magnus usual or not. Have you weighed your Bowtech?

I like the First Cut Titaniums,,they work very well for mechanicals and have a cut on contact tip. My buddy swears by them and says they will leave a blood trail a blind man can follow

I shoot nothin' but MUZZY. And they are " Bad To The Bone" and they are "Bad Thru The Bone" too!! I shot a Buck one year and the Muzzy 4 Blade went thru both shoulders and stuck in the dirt another 6 inches!!! I aint shot any other brand so I can't tell ya what others shoot. I just know when I bowhunt, my arrows will be tipped with a Muzzy broadhead. I been shootin' Muzzy since 1991. They have never let me down. ;D

Lots of people swear by them. I myself never had a problem with them when I used them. But just like anything else I do, I'm always trying something 'new and improved'. Glad to hear your successes YR!!

I like the Montec To find out the top dog....check out the summer broadhead shootout in August @ www.btreviews.com Right now there are plenty of heads which could compete but only two come to mind for what I consider to be the potential for a battle royal. That is to say....the need for going outside of the required tests in order to determine the absolute best of the best.

Currently right now I shoot Magnus Stinger (with bleeders), Magnus original Snuffer and the Magnus SS Snuffer. All of them are 125 gr.
I've taken animals this year with all 3 heads and they work great.

I've taken animals this year with all 3 heads and they work great. Magnus SS Snuffer broke and bent on a test I ran last year. The Stingers are great other than the 150gr. which has to long of a leading tip. That longer unsupported area makes it prone to bending on hard impacts with heavier bone.
