Sure hope I can get into them . The area is near the Flathead Indian Reservation . I've never been in this area before and need to do some scouting. I have plenty of time though... Our Fall turkey hunting season runs from Sept. 1 to Jan. 1 . Its a long season .

Thanx guys ! Right now I'm trying to get some maps of the area since the boundries are a little "fuzzy". MT.. is very strict about abtaining permission to hunt on adjacent private land next to State owned property. You really have to do your "homework" before venturing out to hunt.

Foss~ I really can't give you an answer to that since I only moved back here a year ago. The turkey "draws" are for the Eastern part of MT. where their numbers are much smaller than back in 500 where you were living all the way out to 700. Lots of birds in the Eastern parts.Hopefully someday the whole state will be "open" to a general upland bird license including turkey.
