well this week is the last season if the WI turkey season, I had one tag for this season(my second tag of the year) and at exactly 5:15 this morning I had the tom i roosted fly down 4 yards in front of me,(heres some background) I was in 45min before daylight and used no calls or decoys becuase the birds on this farm had been heavily pressured, so I did my scouting and roosted 3 toms and I knew exactly wehre they flew down every morning so I was in pole position...so back to the morning....the tom flew down i was already up and ready for him becuase I heard him flying off the roost so as soon as hit spurs hit the ground, the shot was off....this was my closest turkey kill, but all 6 turkeys i have killed have been under 8 yards so the damage done is very extensive and makes for a super efficient kill ;D he clocked in a 22lbs 10 1/2in beard and 1 1/4in spurs the digital is down so as soon as i get the pics developed I will post them
