Turkey and small game heads?
As far as the ability to do what you want a head to do instead of a test that requires a head to go through a rigorous test of durability such as I do now.
If anyone really believe that this is something that should be done then tell me your parameters for pass/fail or grade system.

Can you guess what I'd recommend BT? ;D In all actuality, this is something I'd like to see. Too many pass throughs and vitals misses to not want to saee an unbiased test done on Turkey heads. This is the one game animal I would sincerely think about using a mechanical.

That would be an interesting review, and one I would think might be difficult to test.

Not difficult at all Mike but I will have to start mid. summer because I am in deep enough with three other big game heads right now. ------------------------------------------
I agree Michi. , the expandable would be my choice at first glance.

For turkey my head set up is a little different than most. I use the First Cut Titanium expandables, except I remove the openers and just use the cut on contact tip blade. The blade is 3/4 of an inch long and 7/16 of an inch wide, you get field tip accuracy and with 50% of the blade set in the ferrule you get a super stiff impact point. I prefer to take head shots using the eye or the base of the skull when walking away as the focal point. I usually cut my poundage back since turkeys aren`t as tough as a deer and I don`t burry up as many arrows or as badly I should say.It takes alot of practice but I take a turkey paper target and put a circle around its eye to increase the focal point,, it isn`t as tough as some may think with just a little practice it will be amazing how easy it is.
