any body else hit the woods during the fall to try to bag that tom you missed during the spring... or mabey even the score for having that perfect set up blown during the spring by that hot hen ;D went out last weekend and ended up with the turkeys on top hopefully this weekend will turn out a bit better ;D

I've never Turkey hunted. But hope too one day. My brother in-law has Turkey in his back yard every day. I know when I have been there we have seen as many as 20. He claims he has had 40+. The place is just crawling with them. Anyway good luck this weekend and be sure to post some pics if you get one.

Don't have a fall season in my hunt unit. But you can bet your butt I'll be out in the spring.

lmao.....well so far this season ole tom and jenny have gotten the better of myself and hunting buddies ;D im glad that the fall season is long and generous ;D and yes crow does go well with some wine and cheese ;D

sorry for my absence as of late well the fall season has come and gone............ final score.........sidewinder and company 0 turkeys get to breed like rabbits till spring ;D all in all it was a great time in the woods with many stories to pass on. like gary macord once stated "they all cant be hi lite's" but will always be remembered

we had the whole month of oct. here.i took the shotgun out a couple of times but mostly bow hunted.i had turkeys all over my prop. all summer,but when season started they just vanished.oh well after deer season,spring will be here before we know it.

We had our 1st fall season here in Indiana this year. Unfortunatly I did not see any when I was out. The season coincided with early archery season which was nice. I took the turkey calls along deer hunting, and I think that they did more for the deer than the turkey. A few soft clucks will quickly calm most spookey deer.
