.........too even wax my string because of the way my bow is performing!! Went and did a little shooting today and couldn't believe the way my arrows were grouping. So I stood back at 40 yards and let em rip and this is the results!! Now remember, I'm shooting a bow that's a little over 29" AtA and without a peep. Two factors that most will tell you you shouldn't do if you want accuracy. But tell me this, would any of these arrows not killed a deer? I think NOT!!! ;D ;D ;D

The funny thing is all the deer I've killed with my bow have done just that- stand there!! I've never taken a moving deer. Just click your tongue or give a low whistle, and be ready to pull the trigger the split second that bad boy stops(and he will!!) and you never have to worry about it!! How many on here have taken a moving deer?

No same thing here, I get lined up and when I'm ready I give a little mouth bleat and so far they have all stopped and turn to look my direction. Well that's where they make their mistake. ;D

Here's a couple pics from a practice session shortly after I bought the wife a bow. She's gotten pretty good with it.

I haven't had too much problem getting them out, but as you can see mine is still fairly new.

Actually, I'd think newer would be harder. It may have something to do with my speeds. I notice that the foam actually melts to my arrow from friction.

I have heard the same problems about the McKenzies: Miss the vitals, nearly impossible to pull the arrows out. Once we buy a house and I have a bit of land to shoot on, I will research targets more.
Right now, I shoot at my bow club, where i can bring my Yellow Jacket BH target, at their targets or on their silhouette course. I joined a gun club also, since they have a 3D course in addition to their sporting clays, etc.

My shop also has the Techno-Hunt system. Leagues and all. I haven't shot it yet, but a couple people I know like it as a tune up before the woods.

Is that one of those screens that you shoot into? My shop has one of them, it's a 30 video and scores you based on your hits.

I enjoy it. It does let you know how you are shooting. Gives you different angles to shoot. Lets you know if you aren't very good at certain angles.
