I would like to congradulate Bowslap on getting himself started on bass fishing. He baught a new tackle bag at Gander Mountain today and I will be helping him fill it and get started on the wonderful world of bass fishing.

It's been a long time coming, for sure. Would've been easier starting in in childhood or in my 20's, rather than in my 30's..LOL.....got a lot of ground to cover, and I plan on making up for lost time. It's going to take time to amass the equipment needed, but I'll get there. Need to speak with some family members, see who got ahold of my late Grandpa Stewart's fishing gear. He had a decent collection amassed over his 68-69 years of life....would be honored to continue the tradition. My Dad's not into hunting/fishing unfortunately.....not due to lack of exposure, but just no interest.
So, my experience doesn't go back as far as I'd wish it did....won't let the same mistake happen with my own children!
