Hey mike,,maybe early this spring we could hit Brookville reservoir and do some walleye fishing? If they aren`t hitting we could do some crappy fishing there as well. We could do a review on the lake as well since it is close to Ohio maybe some of the member there would like it?

Had a friend go out walleye fishing this afternoon by the Detroit Lighthouse which is where the Detroit river and Lake Erie meet. He was fishing in 15 foot water pulled in 7 good size walleye from 14 to 22 inches. Also hauled in some nice looking perch. Used 1/2oz jig tipped with a minnow. So the fish are getting active, and as the weather and water gets warmer the fish will be out and hope they're hungry!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY FISHING.

Supposed to be a great year for Walleye. The quotas have all been raised. The 2003 spawn is about the right size for keepers this year too. Can't wait to get my freezer filled with them!!

Went out Saturday morning on Lake Erie for some Walleye fishing found a few, but only one was really worth taking a picture of. It's a 21 inch Walleye, and YES I released it after the picture was taken.

Oops I guess I did forget the details (getting old sorry) Went bottom bouncing, We used a lindy rig, with a Berkley 6" motor oil power bait worm. We fished in 20 foot of water.
Also Michi, the slot limit on walleyes are anything 21 to 27 inches are to be returned not kept, those are the breeding stock. Be sure to measure your walleye.

I prefer my walleye between 15-21 for fillets TJ. Don't let the DNR find you with a 21" walleye, it's a $500.00 fine my friend. SO MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE!!!!!!
