What is your favorite lake to fish? Even if it isn`t for bass. Mine is Dale Hollow lake on the TN side at Celina,TN. Multiple species of BIG fish and the most beautiful water I have ever seen.

My alltime favorite lake has got to be a hands down victory to Pickwick lake in Hardin County Tennessee. Anyone who ever wants to fish in there, let me know and I can take you to my personal sweetspot. Bring White Plastic worms because the big cats in there love them. I have fished in Tishomingo County Mississippi, and didn't like it, I have fished in a couple places in Lousiana and didn't like it. Pickwick is less than 30 miles from my house, and I love to fish there better than anywhere else.

I've fished both Dale Hollow & Pickwick Lakes, I've fished all over our great country, but my favorites are Orchard lake in Michigan & Lake Farmington in New Mexcio. Those are my favorites but the best ones I've fished are all in Florida, I think Lake Toho is one of the best. ENJOY THE OUTDOORS, TJ - bassrod2

I'm kind f surprised by your choice of favorites bassrod. I'd have thought Lake St. Clair would've been in your list. Orchard Lake can get pretty hairy come summertime. Pontiac Lake and Devils Lake are a couple of my favs, but you can't beat the smallies and muskie on St. Clair. For Walleye, Brest Bay in Lake Erie will have you limited out before you can get your thermos of coffeee empty!!

I like my home water of Percy Priest here in Tennessee the best. I went to Dale Hollow for my buddies bachelor party and we had a hoot catching fish the whole weekend. It is a very beautiful lake and if anyone gets a chance I would highly suggest it.
I know it isnt a lake, but there is a "creek" that turns into the Stones River about 20 minutes from me that produces massive amounts of little small mouth all year. If you put in a hard days fish, you will pull out some smallies that are in the 4-6lb. range. The action is none stop, with a big fish as a reward to keep you wanting more.

Love to fish Fla. Rodman, St. Johns River, A lot of the Small lakes. Close to home South Holston has some of the best and biggest Smallmouth. Had one on last yr. that could very possibly been the new WORD RECORD SMALLMOUTH. I've caught plenty largemouth over 9 and 4 that were 9-15. This Smallmouth was bigger than any of them.

Pontiac Lake just don't like, Devils Lake it's ok, Now Coldwater Lake is good for both large and smallmouth bass, but those lakes are not really a favorite

Is that the shores or the city? I've got friends all over this area. Do you do any bow shooting? We might have to get together and do some fishing some time. Looks like the Walleye will be running pretty soon. Keep me in mind if you ever need a fishing partner!!

Redford is by Livonia, Southfield, Farmington. Yeah we can go fishing anytime, always have room for a fishing buddy. As for bow shooting never took it up, but willing to give it a shot. I may be 50 but always like to learn more.

My wifes sister and husband live there. I used to fish off the boardwalk by the bowling alley back in the day. I personally like that town. Pretty wholesome area for being so close to the city. They stay on a street called Goffe. He works at the Edison plant as an HVAC tech. Been trying to gety in there myself for years.

TJ- If you do any type of hunting, you'll definitely want to extend your season through archery. No pressure and you get the first shot at those trophy deer. If you are serious about it, let me know and we can get together for a test run!!

You know Mike, I'm willing to try some bow hunting, maybe even bow fishing, but this old BASS has only used a fishing rod for little over 40 years, I may try to cast the bow before I shoot!!! LOL
