;D....now I've been called a LOT of things in my life, but never a hijacker! Hey, if a wire "possum" inlay can be done at a price that won't break his bank, I'm willing to bet Hoosier would buy one, all joking aside...'slap...

He has some really nice knives on his site, I love to see people that still build stuff the old timey way. I saved his link and once I get my new bow built I will email about a possom handled knife.

Hoosier if it were me...I'd quiz him now to get the ball rolling. Reason being...it'll take several months to get your knife. He has quite a back-log. Here's a pic of my patch knife I had him make me. The pic makes everything darker than it actually is. Also wanted a neck sheath...so he fixed me right up.

He definately does some sweet work,,I would love to put in an order now but waiting on the taxes and such and getting my $$$ in order for a bow I am having custom made and they havn`t shot me a price quote on it yet ( getting scarey ) When i do get to ordering one the wait won`t be a biggy, I already have 1 hunting knife I had special made but as always 1 more won`t hurt I am glad to have found a link to him, I love the old timers that still do it by hand the traditional way.

They hold an edge real good. My first of his is a little drop point that's not pictured...has skinned and gutted several deer and hasn't been sharpened. The patch knife has cut many, many patches and hasn't been sharpened yet.

Thats what I like about the old timers that know how to forge steel,,they know how to temper a knife so it will hold its edge for alot longer than these newer knives.

Very nice looking knife. I would have loved to have been sporting that back when I was involved with the Mountain Man scene.
