It is great. I put the "standard" silencers on it and I didnt notice that big of a difference in sound. I did notice a small difference in feel though, but not much(vibration). It is very accurate and I think it is well worth the money. Why pay alot for a Hoyt when you can a bow that uses Hoyt parts for half the price?

I use an Excaliber Cross Bow, a Vixen, for hunting. Just got it a little over a year ago. I also have a compound bow but I'm not up to snuff enough with it to use it for hunting. Kinda prefer my xbow anyway.

Is it the angle of the pic or is your scope directly behind your riser? What type of scope are you using? What magnification? Do you spot shoot?

Is it the angle of the pic or is your scope directly behind your riser? What type of scope are you using? What magnification? Do you spot shoot? My scope is inside of the sights that are in front of the riser. It is a HHA Optimizer 5000 Sight with a lense kit and a 4xPowers lens. I do not have a power peep. I do shoot indoors, just for fun. I may start shootin' leagues sometime if I have the time. I just love to shoot. I have the same set up on my Tribute as well. I also have the STS System on them both too. The STS stands for Shock Terminator Suppressor. It stops the travel of the string from coming forward past the launch of the arrow. It helps stop bow arm slap, String noise and takes alot of the shock out from the grip at the shot. It makes a world of difference. Here are some more pic's of it. Here is a pic of the HHA Optimizer 5000 Sights. And here is some upclose pics of the STS System on the Trykon.

You know I have noticed allot of shooters using the STS and even allot shooting the Mathews XT. I feel that the XT is the smoothest shooting bow I've shot and I don't feel the need to add anything else to silence it. Its quiet!!! I've shot the Trykon and its quiet too!! So why is everyone adding more weight and gadgets to they're bows??

So why is everyone adding more weight and gadgets to they're bows??Well for one I didn't like the sound of the string noise on my Trykon, so I removed the grenades that were on the string. It actually made the noise even worse. So I put the STS on it and it took all that noise away and I don't have to worry about string slap and what shock was in handle(which wasn't much at all) was all gone as well. And it isn't heavy at all. I think it's a great product. Put one on your bow and feel & hear the difference.

Ok so what does the STS do? Yeah I used to shoot many years ago and Michi is helping the bow monkey suck me back in. I need to learn.
Is it the shaft that looks like a rubber stopper on the end that the bow string is resting against? If so does that not shorten the bowstring life drasticly?

It's a vibration/noise suppressor that absorbs energy by way of stopping forward momentum of your string after release. Doen't effect the DL at all. In fact it is adjusted to be just short of your string at rest.

Do you need to put some end serving to cover the string to protect it as well?

;D I like the STS on the Martin . As far as the cam lean have a few emails and PM's out to Martin ,I will be making a call to Martin when I get home from work tomorrow. Here is a pic of the cam lean and a email I wrote Martin Hi Jake or Joel, I purchased a 2006 Martin Saber with Dyna Cams on 5/12/06. I bought the bow from Flaming Arrow Archery in Kalispell, MT. I am having a serious cam lean with this bow. It is shreading up my stock Martin String and Cable after only 2 weeks! I took the bow back to Dennis Brieske at Flaming Arrow on 5/20/06, and he said that the cam lean is normal. I disagree & I would like to send the bow back to you & have it check out by a certified Martin Tech since Dennis admittedly does not know much about Martin bows. His expertise is with Bowtech. I am very displeased and down right furious with my local dealer. As an Archer I could have spent my hard earned money on any number of bows from various manufactures. But I chose Martin based upon a high recomendation from your Staff shooter Paul Phillips. I have heard great things about your awesome customer service, and was highly impressed with a clip of how you make your bows on Limbsaver Outdoors tv show. I emailed Jake concerning this problem last week and haven't heard anything back to date. I really need to figure out exactly what the problem is and have it resolved, 90 days until opening day of Elk season, and I want to be ready! I can be reached via phone after 5 PM Mountain time, which is an hour ahead of you there in WallaWalla. Or you could email me at any time, I do check email frequently. I really hope that you can address this problem as soon as possible. Thanks in advance, Matt Lipski
